Ennio Morricone : 1928 - 2020

Italian composer Ennio Morricone died at 91. Celebrated for his movie themes, he made a name for himself in the early 1960s by composing scores for films by Sergio Leone such as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West. In 2016, he received an Oscar for the original soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. In total, Morricone wrote the music for more than 500 films, covered all genres and will remain one of the greatest composers of all time.
